Sr. Account Executive

SUMMARY:
Develops new accounts and maintains current customers for assigned communication providers (e.g., local, regional, and international carriers, ISPs, IP providers, data centers) in order to maximize sales and support achievement of company sales objectives.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:





Establishes and cultivates relationships across multiple organizational levels with potential and existing customers to support sales activities, enhance account penetration, and meet sales quotas.

Anticipates and identifies customer business needs (current and future) and develops/designs solutions, applications, and network configuration proposals that:
-Address customer needs
-Provide benefits/operational efficiencies to customer
-Utilize company products and services
-Optimize company network components, utilizing on-net, off-net (Type II or Type IV) services

Prepares and presents sales proposals to customer decision makers to gain sales closure.

Negotiates Master Service Agreements and complex pricing structures, maintaining compliance with company financial models while ensuring return on investment for customer.

Maintains contacts with assigned accounts to ensure quality of relationship continues, sales opportunities are recognized and action taken, and customer satisfaction is maintained.

Performs other duties as assigned
